The rapid changes and increased complexity of interventional diagnostic and treatment products and practices have created the need for a higher level of knowledge and education for physicians, cath lab personnel, and industry representatives.

CCIR meets the need for enhanced education of industry representatives.

CCIR is an educational and certification course of study which includes regular on-line sessions and interactions with an interventional physician, simulator experiences, and an oral examination administered by a panel of experts at Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT), with a graduation ceremony to follow.

CCIR’s curriculum consists of five learning modules: Cardiovascular Disease, Coronary Intervention, Peripheral and Carotid Artery Disease, Structural Heart Disease, and General Information.

The curriculum has been created by a team of physicians in collaboration with the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), the medical educational professionals who bring learning experiences like TCT to thousands of physicians, cath lab personnel, and industry professionals around the world.
