CME Accreditation and Designation

The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) has been reviewed by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and awarded Accreditation for 4 years as a provider of continuing medical education (CME) for physicians.

Accreditation in the ACCME System seeks to assure the medical community and the public that CRF delivers education that is relevant to clinicians' needs, evidence-based, evaluated for its effectiveness, and independent of commercial influence.

CRF is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians and designates credits for live activities and enduring material. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activities.

Documentation of awarded credit is provided for registered attendees in exchange for completed online activity evaluations. Certificates of attendance are available to all registered attendees online.

Activity Evaluation

Online surveys will evaluate content, presentations, bias, and assess future educational needs.

Disclosure Statement

It is the policy of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation to ensure balance, independence, objectivity, and scientific rigor in all of its sponsored educational activities. Commercial support from industry does not influence educational content, faculty selection, and/or faculty presentations and therefore, does not compromise the scientific integrity of the educational activity.

Discussion of off-label product usage and/or off-label product use during live cases is made at the sole discretion of the faculty. Off-label product discussion and usage are not endorsed by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation or the conference directors of this activity.

Faculty participating in continuing medical education activities sponsored by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation are required to disclose to the activity audience any real or apparent conflicts of interest related to the content of their presentations. Faculty in noncompliance with this policy are not permitted to participate in this activity.

In accordance with the accredited continuing education sponsored by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF), all planners, faculty, teachers, and authors with control over activity content are required to disclose to the provider any relevant financial relationships (those held within the prior 24 months) with ineligible companies. Accredited providers are required to provide this information to learners before the start of an activity.
