CRF is committed to educating health care professionals and the public to ensure that the work of physicians and researchers is translated into improved care for patients with cardiovascular disease. Our educational activities have achieved a worldwide reputation for excellence in training clinical practitioners in advanced techniques and innovations. We conduct more than 50 educational meetings, conferences, and teaching symposia annually—shaping the direction of research and new approaches to clinical practice in interventional cardiology.
CRF’s annual scientific symposium, Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT), brings together more than 10,000 physicians, health care professionals, industry colleagues, and government regulators from around the world to demonstrate the latest in research and interventional techniques. We also sponsor a variety of other specialized educational activities that focus on emerging clinical areas of need.
CRF also develops and distributes educational materials intended for the global medical community. Through online journals, CDs, DVDs, Web sites, and Web casts, we specialize in communicating with and informing broad audiences through the creation of sophisticated and enduring materials. CRF provides many state-of-the-art graphic and multimedia services as well, including high-definition video production, online interactive training programs, and 3-D modeling and animation. Additionally, CRF manages TCTMD.com (TCTMD), a leading resource for interventional cardiovascular news and education.
