TCT 2017 is an excellent educational opportunity for those early in their medical career. The variety of sessions, from live case transmissions to smaller interactive sessions on innovative new treatments, can expand horizons and help enhance burgeoning medical careers. TCT 2017 is expected to draw talents from around the world, providing a forum for networking and interacting between those early in their careers and seasoned professionals who can offer guidance and indispensable knowledge. Explore the programs below to learn more about applying to win a scholarship to TCT 2017. Scholarships include waived TCT registration costs; coach travel to Denver, Colorado; housing for TCT week; and a one-year subscription to TCTMD Prime.

Impella Scholarship Program
Supported through an educational grant from ABIOMED, Inc.
Submission Opens: April 6, 2017
Submission Deadline: July 14, 2017 (2 PM ET, GMT/UTC -4)

Physicians enrolled in a fellowship program may submit a "most challenging case" demonstrating the successful use of the Impella device. Please provide a brief description of patient history, clinical diagnosis, case decisions, and patient outcome. Applicants with the top three cases will be selected for a scholarship to TCT and will present their case at a Breakfast Meeting.

IABP Scholarship Program
Supported through an educational grant from Getinge Group
Submission Opens: April 6, 2017
Submission Deadline: July 14, 2017 (2 PM ET, GMT/UTC -4)

Physicians enrolled in a fellowship program may submit an interesting or unique clinical case of a patient who benefited from counter-pulsation therapy for one of the following indications:

  • Acute Coronary Syndromes
  • Cardiac and Non-Cardiac Surgery
  • Complications of Heart Failure

Applicants with the top three case submissions will receive a scholarship to attend TCT and will present their case at a Breakfast Meeting.
