New York – July 16, 2013 – The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) announced today that Xavier Pardo has joined the organization as Director of Global Strategic Development of the CRF Skirball Research Center. The CRF Skirball Research Center is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to translational research and the validation of innovative catheter based technologies. As Director of Global Strategic Development, Pardo will be instrumental in expanding the CRF Skirball Research Center's support and services for innovative companies worldwide and fostering the development of new research areas outside of the cardiovascular field.

With more than 14 years of experience in the medical device industry, Pardo has a strong knowledge of emerging technologies, especially with regard to international sales and marketing in emerging and developed markets. He has expertise in numerous medical therapies, including neuromodulation, spinal, cardiology, and cardiac rhythm management. Pardo completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Baylor University and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Minnesota.
