CRF’s Annual Scientific Symposium Will Take Place October 29 – November 2, 2016 in Washington, DC

WHAT:

NBA legend, Lakers star, and two-time hall of famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson will be a special keynote speaker at TCT 2016 (Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics), the annual scientific symposium of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF). TCT is the world’s premier educational meeting specializing in interventional cardiovascular medicine, attracting nearly 12,000 attendees from all over the world.

For 12 years, Magic Johnson dominated the court as one of America's best basketball players. Today he is both a successful entrepreneur and dedicated philanthropist. He is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Magic Johnson Enterprises which provides high quality products and services that focus primarily on ethnically diverse and underserved urban communities through strategic alliances, investments, consulting and endorsements. Johnson also serves as Chairman and Founder of the Magic Johnson Foundation which supports the educational, health and social needs of ethnically diverse, urban communities through programs that promote HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention, digital literacy, and college access.
