Despite prevention efforts and advances in treatments, heart disease remains the number one cause of death for women in the United States. According to the AHA, 80% of heart disease and stroke events may be prevented by lifestyle changes and education. Unnecessary stress, especially around the holidays, can lead to a wide variety of health problems including heart disease. CRF is committed to helping women manage stress more effectively to improve the health of their minds and hearts.
