WHAT:

The Cardiovascular Research Foundation (CRF) will stream select abstracts from Transcatheter Cardiovascular Therapeutics (TCT) 2021 throughout the month of October. These free sessions will be streamed on Twitter and Facebook.

TCT is the annual scientific symposium of CRF and the world’s premier educational meeting specializing in interventional cardiovascular medicine. Every year, TCT features dozens of late breaking trials and hundreds of abstracts that examine the safety and effectiveness of minimally invasive techniques, pharmaceuticals, technologies, and devices that demonstrate potential to treat or prevent cardiovascular disease. TCT 2021 will be held online and in Orlando, Florida at the Orange County Convention Center with a limited number of in-person attendees under strict public health measures. The online experience will allow those who are unable to attend in person to participate in real-time with their colleagues.

WHY:

Heart disease remains the leading cause of death worldwide. Every year, the discoveries made through hundreds of studies and late breaking trials presented at TCT lead to advancements in new medicines and devices that ultimately lead to improved care for people with heart disease.
