Interventional Research Fellowship Application

Thank you for your interest in our CRF Skirball Center for Innovation’s Interventional Research Fellows Program. Our Program attracts scholars from around the world. We train future leaders of interventional cardiology through participation in the Center’s preclinical translational research focused on development and validation of novel and future technologies for cardiovascular medicine.

The fellowship provides progressive structured experience in advanced cardiovascular research methodologies and techniques, including performing hands-on experimental preclinical procedures in hospital-like catheterization laboratories and operating rooms equipped with state-of-the-art echocardiography, IVUS, OCT and cardiopulmonary bypass system.

This comprehensive experience, ranging from study design and protocol development through performing complex clinical-like experimental procedures to data analysis, critical thinking and manuscript writing. It enables the Research Fellows to become independent experimental researchers and future thought leaders at the end of their 12- to 24-month stay with SCI.
