Structural Heart is an international peer-reviewed journal focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the heart valves, myocardium, and great vessels, as well as congenital heart disease. SHJ acknowledges the importance of collaboration among various professional disciplines involved in the care of patients with structural heart disease and is therefore committed to highlighting research from all members of the heart team.
The journal covers such topics as transcatheter procedures, cardiovascular surgery, drug treatment, basic and translational science, and imaging in structural heart disease — with a special emphasis on innovation (new devices, therapies, and first-in-human studies). Each issue contains original research, reviews, opinion pieces, editorials, and images in cardiovascular disease. It is the official journal of the Cardiovascular Research Foundation.
