Call for Science

TCT Connect is a virtual global platform to share and present your scientific research with colleagues from around the world.

Submission details and deadlines for each category are listed below. Please contact tctcallforscience-support@crf.org with any questions.

LATE-BREAKING CLINICAL TRIALS & SCIENCE

Submissions are now CLOSED.

Participate in of one of the most exciting segments of TCT Connect – the presentation of late-breaking trials and science on a global platform.

Take advantage of this valuable opportunity to:

  • Share your science with colleagues and leading experts
  • Gain international recognition and make a global impact on the field

Submission Guidelines

Late-Breaking Clinical Trials/Science are typically:

  • First-time presentations of first-in-human experiences with novel devices or drugs
  • Primary or important secondary endpoint results of prospective, randomized clinical trials
  • Or large-scale, impactful single-center/multicenter registries

Please note that the following rarely qualify as Late-Breaking Clinical Trial submissions: preclinical studies, early first-in-human device studies, and meta-analyses. These should be submitted as abstracts or to the Call for Innovation (see below).

Submission limits for Late-Breaking Clinical Trials and Science:

  • 3,250 characters maximum including spaces
  • Text fields include: title, acronym, authors, category and full trial description
  • Images must be under 10 MB, .PNG and .JPG files only

COVID-19 LECTURES

Submissions are now CLOSED.

Submit your ideas and clinical data on the Unforeseen Ramifications of COVID-19 on patients and/or the cardiovascular medicine community. Concepts should relate to improving outcomes for patients with cardiovascular disease.

CHALLENGING CASES

Submissions are now CLOSED.

Optimize patient care by sharing your experience and teaching others.

Have you managed a challenging case(s) in your hospital or practice? Use this forum to share your knowledge, techniques, experiences and to teach others how you’ve managed the complicated case(s). Submit your most challenging coronary, endovascular, and structural heart disease cases. The best cases will be selected for a wide variety of virtual presentations.

Please submit a PowerPoint file with approximately 5-10 slides.

ABSTRACTS

Submissions are now CLOSED.

Abstract submissions constitute original research in an area of interventional cardiology, endovascular medicine, or structural heart disease (though they may include portions of prior abstracts and/or manuscripts presented elsewhere). Clinical studies, basic science investigation, and preclinical studies are equally encouraged.

Accepted abstracts will be published online in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology.

Please note that reports regarding a single patient should be submitted to the Call for Challenging Cases (see below) regardless of the novelty of the individual case.

INNOVATION & ENTRIES FOR THE TCT SHARK TANK INNOVATION COMPETITION

Submissions are now CLOSED.

TCT Innovation

Participants are invited to submit their novel technologies relevant to the monitoring, diagnosis, and treatment of coronary, endovascular, or structural heart disease. Selected emerging technologies will be presented as part of TCT Connect.

TCT Shark Tank Innovation Competition

Submitters are also encouraged to participate in the TCT Shark Tank Innovation Competition. The winner will receive $200,000 USD, provided by the Jon DeHaan Foundation. The evaluation process will occur before the meeting, and a group of selected technologies will be invited to participate to present at the time of the virtual event.

All technologies submitted to the competition must:

  1. Address an unmet clinical need
  2. Have preliminary patent application filed
  3. Include pre-clinical or early human clinical data
